Mayor Nading presiding. Council present : Cerveny, Svoboda i Quillen & Hastings . Bullock absent . Minutes of previous meeting, budget & financial reports approved. on motion of Svoboda, 2nd Cerveny. Carried Russ Carver, Fire Chief, discussed the cost per fire department. member for the Hepatitis B vaccine . On motion of Hastings 2nd Svoboda, Scott Jackobson, approved as a probationary member of the fire department . Carried. Oin motion of Cerveny, 2nd Hastings , an amendment to the fire department by-laws was approved. Carried. Building permit for Edon Hilton was approved on motion of Svoboda, 2nd Hastings . Carried. Building permit for Lawrence Valvoda approved on motion of Svoboda, 2nd Cerveny. Carried. Six Month Seasonal and Sunday Beer permit for the Fairfax Baseball team was approved on motion of Hastings , 2nd Cerveny. Carried. Discussion held with Mrs Benton Jones , Jack Harville. & Terry Johnson in regard to runoff problem on Cemetery Road West . Clean-up projects for volunteers from Prairie Highs freshman class were discussed. They will undertake the projects on June 5th and June 6th. Bills approved as presented on motion of Svoboda, 2nd Cerveny. Carried. Councilmember Svoboda left at 8 :45PM. Discussion held on certain cement streets that need repairs . Motion to adjourn made at 8 : 55PM by Hastings , 2nd Cerveny, Carried .
