Motion by Cerveny, 2nd Sheely, approval of agenda, 1'-Iin-utes of
previous meeting , budget and financial reports.

Notion of Quillin, 2nd Neuhaus , request of Hanes Construction, for
rezoning from Ag. to L! at 508 Railroad Street be approved . MC
Discussion with the Fire Department on their receiving Hepatitis
shots . Their are approximately 15 that will be taking them, M�
Sankot is to check out where they can get the best price and the
City will pay for them. At the December Council meeting, there will
be a short tour of the Fire Station.
Dennis Wilson ' s request for permission to install a basketball hoop
on Front styeet was denied.,
Ordinance 177 - NO PARKING ON SOUTH SIDE OF PRAIRIE was read for
the 1st. . tiMe - Motion of Cerveny, 2nd Sheely the Ist , reading was
approved . The Clerk will send lettera to all residents on the South.
side of Prairie , informing them that at the December Mesting it
will be read for a 2nd & 3rd time .
V Murphy was inquiring as to the Councils view on the possibility
of deveiopment of 52 acres on Linn Street . The question V running
the sewer lines and who would pay the cost . The Council said they
would do what they could to help expand the city,

accepted , K , Selzer was appointed to fill his terms D . Exiine was
appointed to fill the term of D, Hanke on the Board of Review,
Mayor Nading is getting the appraisal for the land on Front Street ,
at the December Council meeting there will V a signing of t
property to Fairfax .
john Dennis , Williams Sled. , asked the Council what he would have
to do to connect on to the City Sewer System. The matter is to be
checked into .
V. Cerveny is write a letter to C&NW railroad requesting that a,
fence be installed between the railroad and the area that will be
a park,
Motion by Neuhaus , 2nd Sheely to pay bills presented, Carried ,
No further business , motion by Sheely, 2nd Neuhaus meeting
adjourned at 8 ; 30 P -V

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PREMISES AS ESTABLISHED
AND SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
FAIRFAX , 10WA.
BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAIRFAX, IOWA,
Section 1 . The puypose ol this ordinance 0 to amend
and change the zoning classification for certain premises as
established and shown on the affacial zoning map for the City of
Fairfax , lowa,
Section 2 . The zoning classification of Agriggiture
for the premises described as as adopted anc�
shown an the official zoning map of the City K Fairfax , lowa ,
hereby amended and changed by repealing the above zoning
classification a,n Ni .i d o t i n g in lie"A 1 h e Ir e c"f t zoj
classification of Li -,Ljqht industrial for the above described
premises .
Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed .
Section 4 . if any sectiop. provision ot part of this
ordinance should be ad3udged invalid or uncroustiturional, such
ad3udication shall not affect the validity of Lhe ordinance as 71

That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 9, Township 82 North, Range 8 West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, hounded and described as follows: Beginning at the
intersection of the Northerly extension of the East line of Iowa
Street and a line parallel with and distant 50 feet Southerly,
measured at right angles, from the center line of the main track of
the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company, as said main
track is now located; thence Westerly along said parallel line a
distance of 380 feet, more or less, to a line drawn parallel with
and distant 700 feet East of, as. measured along tha South line of
