Adjournment . CITY OF FAIRFA Fairfax City Council met on Tuesday December 13 , 1994 at 7 : 00 P.M. Mayor Sheely presiding with council members Shakespeare, Wainwright and Root, absent Neuhaus and Stallman. Motion by Wainwright , 2nd Shakespeare to approve the Agenda, Minutes of the November meeting, Budget and Financial Reports . MC. Maintenance report . Lud suggested that the council look into putting money in the 95/96 budget to purchase a Flow Meter for the Lagoons and a Chlorine Alarm for the pump house. New chains for the dump truck and Christmas decorations were also discussed. Sheriff ' s were asked to watch for cars, parked in no parking zones, and on snow removal emergency routes, and to ticket them. Joe Gase , Ia 11 Gas and Electric explained the merger and the price increase of 5 .. 9% . Motion by Wainwright, 2nd Root to approve the nenewal of the liquor licenses for the Star Hotel and American Legion. MC Fire Department election - Chief , Mike Sankot , Asst. Brian Stallman. Permission for the clerk to purchase a typewriter on a motion by Root, 2nd Wainwright... MC. Motion by Shakespeare , 2nd Wainwright to tow the camper and truck at the Carver ' s residence , and assess the charges to them. MC. Motion by Shakespeare , 2nd Root to pay the bills presented . Motion by Shakespeare , 2nd Wainwright to pay the Fire Department Mayor and Council. MC. Tom Arp discussed his new development and the some of the problems his engineer brought up.
