ADJOURNMENT . CITY OF FAIRFAX The Fairfax City Council met on Tuesday September 13 , 1995 at 7 : 00 p . m. , at City Hall . Mayor Sheely opened the meeting , council present , Shakespeare , Wainwright , Neuhaus , Istallman and Root . Motion by Neuhaus , 2nd Stallman to approve the agenda, minutes of the August meeting,, clerk' s budget and financial reports . MC. Deputy Sheriff turned in the report , and checked on a car . There was nothing further for him. Lud gave the maintenance report . Frank Scott , - Prairie Roadbuilders , asked that the City extend the contract of 1995 to 1996 , since the city has decided not to do any street work this year due to the construction on Hwy 151 . Motion by Stallman, 2nd Neuhaus to approve extending the contract . Neuhaus , Stallman, Root and Shakespeare aye . Wainwright nay. MC. Motion by Neuhaus , 2nd Wainwright to approve RESOLUTION 091295 , Annexation of 3 . 42 A of Daniel and Alisa Shakespeare , and 1 . 88 A of Jack and Kathleen Harville . Neuhaus , Stallman, Root and Wainwright Aye , Shakespeare abstained. MC. Building permits : Motion by Wainwright ,, 2nd Shakespeare to approve the permit of Tim McAdams , Single family home . MC. Motion by Stallman, 2nd Neuhaus, a deck for Ron Stallman. MC . Motion by Neuhaus , 2nd Root for a single family home for William Karteus , MC . Motion by Neuhaus , 2nd Stallman to approve the building permit for 'Daniel Shakespeare for a Commercial shop . MC.. The building permit for Bill Barry was referred to the Board of Review for a variance. . The building permit for Ralph Emanuel was tabled until he was at a Council meeting. Motion by Wainwright, 2nd Neuhaus to renew the beer permit for the Fairfax Handimart , MC . The Fire Chief reported that he had an opening on the Fire Department . A letter will go out to Mr . Russ Carver for the removal of the truck and trailer from his property by September 30 , 1995 , or the City will remove it at the owners expense . The City maintenance men will help if it is needed. Mayor Sheely left at 8 : 00 p.m. , mayor pro tem Neuhaus took over . Motion by Wainwright , 2nd Stallman to approve the bills presented for payment. MC . A presentation will be given to the Brophy' s about moving of thier garage . Motion by Stallman, 2nd Root to adjourn at 8: 20 p.m. MC . Mark E. Sheely, Mayor Betty J .
