A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
JUNE 30 , 1998
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAIRFAX, IOWA:
The Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year ending June 30 , 1998 , as
set forth in, the Adapted Budget Summary, and in the Detailed Budget
in support thereof , showing the Revenue Estimates , and
Appropriation Expenditures and Allocations , to Programs and
Activities for said Fiscal Year is adopted, and the Clerk is
directed to make the filings required by Law, and to set the hooks
in accordance with the Summary and Details as adopted.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON February 25. -LU7 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE .

Mayor Sheely called the Special Council Meeting to order at 6 : 05
p.m. Council present : Harville , Neuhaus and Wainwright . Absent ,
Shakespeare and Stallman.
Mayor Sheely opened the Public Hearing on the proposed budget at
6 : 06 p . m. No citizens or written comments , Mayor Sheely closed the
Hearing at 6 : 07 p. m.
Discussio'n on the budget , motion by Harville to amend the
Library Directors Salary to a cap of 4% , to stay in line with the
other City Employees . 2nd Neuhaus . MC .
Motion by Wainwright to approve the Budget , 2nd Neuhaus . MC .
Motion by Wainwright to adjourn at 6 : 35 p. m. 2nd Harville .
