Absent Beer and Wainwright. Ken Selzer asked questions on the budget.Public hearing closed at 5:50 p.m.Motion to approve the Budget for F/Y 2000-2001 by Shakespeare,2'a Scott.All ayes. Motion Stockton,2"d Shakespeare to adjourn at 5:51 p.m.MC. CITY OF FAIRFAX Regular Council Meeting March 14,2000 Mayor Voss called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M Council members present, Shakespeare, Stockton and Wainwright. Absent Beer and Scott Motion by Wainwright to approve the Agenda,Minutes of the February 8"'and February 22"d council meetings, Clerk's Budget and Financial Reports,2nd Stockton.MC. Mayor Voss opened the public bearing on"Loan Agreement"for the new Fire Truck at 7:07p.m. No objections,Mayor Voss closed the public hearing at 7:07 p.m. Deputy Jinn Crawford presented the list of calls for February.The sheriffs department was asked to watch the Library more closely. Motion by Wainwright to approve the application for a liquor license for the Star Saloon,owner Eric Seaton.2°'Stockton-MC. Scott arrived at 7:15 p.m. Joe Neuhaus and Vernon.Cerveny requested permission to due a.Prairie Creek cleanup from Linn- Benton road to Thistle Hollow Bridge.Motion Shakespeare,2`d Scott that the city will help in any way they can on the cleanup.The city will pay for the food for the workers.MC. Motion by Shakespeare to approve RESOLUTION 00-03-14-3„"Loan Agreement for the New Fire Truck 2"0 Wainwright Ayes'Scott,Shakespeare,Wainwright, Stockton abstained. Opportunity for citizens':A Trails Proiect committee is forming to explore the feasibility of a Walking/Biking Trail between"Old"Fairfax and the new developments—Joe Neuhaus, Version Cerveny and Pat Slater will serve on the committee. Motion by Wainwright to pay Caldwell Tanks and remaining bills presented,2'' Shakespeare. MC. The Librarian gave her report_ Kelly Giese has been appointed to the Library Board.
