Mayor Voss opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Council members.Beer,Scott and Wainwright.
Absent Shakespeare and Stockton.
Motion Beer to approve the agenda,rairkutes of the.July 11"; 141s and 19"'council meetings,
clerk's budget and financial reports.MC.
Denny, Yoe and Mark.iste Management of Iowa was present to discuss the problems the city is
having with garbage pickup,and to apologize for the inconvenience to the city.''hey will return.to the
September Council meeting with a possible solution to the many problems.
Motion Beer,2"d Scott to approve Resolution 00-0808, Annual Road Use Tax Report,MC.
Motion Peer,2"d Scott to approve final payment to Caldwell Tanks,Inc.MC.
Maintenance Report:Discussed the building permit for Torn Hill„meter for the new apartment
complex at 302 Burger Lane.
Librarian gave her report-."I'Ine Library will tentatively be closed on August 17`s,for training on the
nflmr computers.

The Cowicil will start the September inectirg at 6:00 p.m.,for a work session on Nuisance
Abatemmnt, Snowmobile Ordinmicc and sidewalk woiir.
