SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

COUNCIL MEETING
APRIL 16,2001
Mayor Voss called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. Council members present:Ekstrom,
Stockton, Wainwright, Scott and Beer.
Motion Ekstrom,2nd Scott to approve RESOLUTION 0141-16—Council approved installation
of the sanitary sewer in Phase l of Prairie View Estates subject to no connection to the City of Cedar
Rapids and approval of sanitary sewer plan in the subdivision by the City of Cedar Rapids and approval of
the grading plan subject to the issuance of an NPDES Permit by the 1A Department of Natural Resources,
Ayes: 5 MC
Discussion on Municipal Bonds by Larry Burger from Spear Financial.
Motion Scott,2nd Beer to approve the length of Municipal Bonds at 15 yrs, with an 8 yr,call in,
Ayes: 5 MC
Motion Stockton,2IId Ekstrom approval of payment of claims,Ayes: 5 MC
Motion Ekstrom,T Beer to adjourn meeting at 6:20 p.m.MC

RESOLUTION NO.88.04-I
WHERE AS, Gordon Sevig, submitted a plan of improvements for Phase I of
Prairie View Estates Addition, and
WHERE AS, the City Engineer has reviewed said plan of improvements and
recommends approval of the installation of the sanitary sewer subject to no connection to
the City of Cedar Rapids sanitary sewer system and approval of the sanitary sewer plan
by the City of Cedar Rapids and approval of the grading plan subject to the issuance of an
NPDES Permit by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources,now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, installation of the sanitary sewer subject to no connection to the
City of Cedar Rapids sanitary sewer system and approval of the sanitary sewer plan by
the City of Cedar Rapids and approval of the grading plan subject to the issuance of an
NPDES Permit by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
