Opportunity for Citizens not on the Agenda 6. Adjournment CITY OF FAIRFAX SPECIAL COUNCIL 14IEE''CIN TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2006 Mayor Voss called the worksesion to order at 5:30 PM. Council members present: Frieden, Scott, Wainwright. Absent: Beer, Magers.. Also present: Nancy Flickinger, Dick Ransom, Joe Robson, Gordon Sevig. Discussion was held on the revised site plaza for lots 102-105 Fairfax Heights Second Addition to Fairfax. Frieden introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption, seconded by Wainwright. Roll call vote: Ayes. Frieden, Scott, Wainwright. Nays: None. Absent: Beer, Magers. Motion carried. Whereupon the Mayor declared the following duly adopted: Resolution No. 2006-10 entitled, "A RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED SITE PLAN FOR LOTS 102-105 IN FA:IRFAX HEIGHTS SECOND ADDITION". Passed anal. approved this 7a�° day of March 2006.. Council discussed City insurance proposals for the fiscal year 2006-2007. Wainwright moved to accept the insurance quote from Continental Western Insurance Co. which was submitted by Wilson-Hite Insurance, Inc., subject to the submittal and review of quote from Amana Insurance Agency, seconded by Scott. Roll call vote: Ayes: Frieden, Scott, Wainwright. Nays: None. Absent: Beer, Magers. Motion carried. There being no further business, Wainwright moved adjournment at 6:04 PM, seconded by Frieden. All in favor. We recommend approval,. We would also recommend the drive from Highland Avenue to the rear drive on lot 102 be widened to 24 feet for access for public safety vehicles. That-the' plan include the dimensions for roadways, building set backs, building sizes, parking area and driveway radii at the street connections. 21 That he storm sewer that extends to the north line of lot 164 be connected to the culvert under Highway 151, 3. That"the rear driveway betvveen mats 102 and 163 be extended and connected. 4. That .a minimum of 2 parking stalls per unit be provided. Parking on the drive behind the garage stall cannot be counted toward the required parking, 5, That the City be granted access to the fire ,hydrants on this site to allow flusi ing of the hydrants to maintain water quality. 6.
