SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 30,2008
A Special Meeting of the Fairfax City Council was held on Wednesday, January 30,
2008, at Fairfax City Hall at 5:30 PM. Mayor Voss presided. Council members present:
Magers, Rabe, Wainwright, Absent: Beer, Frieden. Others present: Dick Ransom, Cathy
Bayne, Fire Chief Sankot, and.Nancy Flickinger.
Magers moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Rabe. Roll call vote: Ayes: Magers,
Rabe, Wainwright. Nays:None. Motion carried.
Council member Beer arrived at 5:35 PM.
Discussion was held on the upcoming bond hearing.
Discussion was held on the bids received for a new backhoe.No action was taken.
Discussion was held on the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Budget.
Clerk reported on earnings of the Municipal Money Market Checking Account.
There being no further business before the Council, Mayor Voss adjourned the meeting
at 7:05 PM.
