SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
September 27, 2022
A special meeting of the Fairfax City Council was held September 27, 2022. Mayor Frieden
called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Councilmembers present were: Tom Nurre, Mike Daly,
Kate Pacha, Nick Volk, and Marianne Wainwright.
Mayor Frieden appointed Wayne Josifek to the Fairfax Library Board of Trustees for a term
ending July 1, 2028. Linn County will take action tomorrow.
City Engineer Shane Wicks reviewed proposed plans for street improvements. Discussion
was held concerning options, costs, and timing.
Motioned by Pacha, seconded by Volk to adjourn the meeting. Ayes: Nurre, Daly, Pacha,
Volk, and Wainwright. Nays: None. Motion carried.
Mayor Frieden adjourned the meeting at approximately 8:30 PM.
