This we do with the self assurance that we are trying to represent as fax as pictures and words can,the greatest collection of Belgian draft stallions and mares on earth, In it we endeavor to bring forth the superior merits of this particular breed as a draft horse and as the farmers horse which he is now recognized to be the world over,in shite of the most violent supposition. Our fall importation of 100 head of stallions and mares arrived in excellent condition on September 27th, not one having missed a feed since leaving Antwerp,one-fourtb the distance around.the world; all experienced horse shippers admit that the Belgian horse is by far the best shipper, give him plenty to eat and drink and he will quickly content himself with the surroundings. Included in this last impartation is 20 head of choice young Percheron stallions,the best that could be found in France. The district show of Soignies is one of the most important of Belgium. Conque^rasa de Boulant, (23610), a son of the:World's Champion,Reve d'Or,won 2nd prize at Mons,Belgium,at the age of 2 years,and 2nd at same place when.a 3-year old, and 1st there when a 4-year old. When a 5-year old he was 2nd at Brussels in class for his province,and at the same place was placed 5th,in the aged class of the National show of Brussels and was also awarded the Governments 6000 franc pension. His is owned.by Alphonse Lefebure at Neufvilles,Belgium. Farieur de 1 escaille,(55432),was 2nd at Charlemi in 1910 and 2nd at same place in 1911 and a 4th at Seneffe in 1910. Mouton d'Ob, (49154),was 2nd prize 2-year old at Charleroi and 2nd as a 3-year old at sante town, Le Dernier, (13536), a son,of the Champion Dont d' Or, and a grand son of the Champion Jupiter (126),was 1st at Soignies.as a 4-year old and first,tit Mons,Belgium,the same year,and he,a1'so got the Provincial prize of 1500 francs at same time. Infernal d.u.Fosteau, (29374), a son of the Champion Brin T Or,and he by the Champion Jupiter(126),was first at Charleroi in 1907 ;and first at Mons,Belgium,in 1908, where he won.the Provincial prize of 1500 francs in 1908, 1909 and 1910, In 1909, he also wan the Government pension of 6000 francs. He was 5th at the National Exposition of Brussels in 1907 and 6th in 1908. At this same National,Horse Show,in class for stallion and 10 of•his get he was 3rd in 1.911 and 1913 and grid in 1912" Brind d' Or, (1942), a semi of tine Champion, Jupiter (126). Brind d' Or never was beaten in the Show rung, 1st wherever exhibited, and. Champion in 1900 as well as winner of the Governments 6000 frame pension. Cadet, (56800),was wirmer of 3rd at Nevelles in 1909; 1st at Brain Alleud in 1910; 1st at Nevelles in 1911; 1st at Brussels in 1912 acid in 1913 he was awarded the Governments pension of 6000 francs. Mouton de Ragnies, (14604), won 2nd at the National show of Brussels in 1900; lst in Charleroi also in 1900; in 1901, he, got the Gover cents pension of 6000 francs.
